Few heavy metal record labels have established themselves as much as Eclipse Records. We are a premiere boutique independent record company and label services provider based just outside of New York City. Founded in 1997 by former music distribution executive Chris Poland (who still serves as the label’s CEO, handling all A&R duties), Eclipse Records is primarily in the business of developing and promoting heavy metal, alternative metal, and hard rock bands. Spanning a history which exceeds twenty-five years, we have consistently pushed the boundaries of the music industry. We shatter the typical business model employed by other loud rock and heavy metal record labels. We offer our bands total creative freedom, complete financial transparency, coupled with hands-on guidance over all aspects of their careers. We have proven ourselves time and time again, as a fertile breeding ground for talent. Our roster is deliberately small, and we only work with bands we are extremely passionate about. We used to be in bands ourselves… so we know the wants and needs of our bands, and how help them realize their dreams.
