“We were searching for a rooftop in Sydney to shoot the clip and ended up at a place called ‘The Rooftop Marrickville’” says vocalist Virginia Lillye. “It was a super-windy day so we were limited with use of the drone shots. At one point we thought we might fly off the top of the roof, and the cameraman almost lost his eye with a flying drumstick!” About the song itself, she continues, “Our video, In the End was inspired after touring the Middle East to perform for the troops. I realized, no matter how many wars are fought… nothing is ever truly solved. At the end of the day we all die eventually.”
In the End is the second music video by the band from their upcoming new album Evolve. Make sure to watch their first video “Run”, a high-energy Mortal Kombat inspired masterpiece via at this location.
Lillye is fronted by vocalist Virginia Lillye who previously held lead roles in theater productions such as Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Grease, and more. The album was produced by bassist Christian Lauria at his own Machine Men Studios, and mixed by Shane Edwards (Northlane, Hanz Zimmer, Thy Art is Murder) at Karma Studios.
