On Monday, October 11th, DISARRAY was fined for violating the city ordinance of Metro/Davidson County within middle Tennessee. The band had decided to stage a live performance at a pro-life rally held on September 5. An excess of 75 Disarray fans showed up, and despite their well mannered means of exercising their “freedom of speech”, several small altercations (obviously started by the pro-life people as a result of the vulgar language on the Disarray t-shirts) resulted in the dismissal and fines of the band. A fine of $1000 was issued as a result of the band’s resistance to comply with demands made by the pro-life rally’s spokesperson Louise Bandersloan, and the fine is currently being appealed.
