Run For Cover is a first-of-it's-kind group consisting of members from no less than three Rush tribute groups. Carl Schultz (bass/keyboards) and Michael Mumblo (drums) played together in Hemispheres, while Mike Cappadozy (guitar) and Carl Schultz were members of Archives. Lastly, Rob Jackson was brought in from Limelight to fill the vocal spot. Combinig the talents of these musicians has culminated in Run For Covers first nationally released album entitled "A Tribute To Rush."

After spending a couple of years playing in these different tributes, Carl Schultz decided it was time to bring the best elements of each band together for a proper studio recording of these classic Rush tracks. Carl states, "We started the recording with the intention that the members would have a finished recording that would be the best representation of us interpreting classic Rush songs. We did this project out of respect and admiration for one of the world's most important and influential rock bands of all time. We wanted to pay homage to Rush." At this point, Eclipse Records stepped in, believing that Run For Cover had done a fine job putting this album together. When asked about A Tribute To Rush, Eclipse President Chris Poland said, "As a huge fan of Rush myself, I heard this project and found myself listening to it quite often, it's amazing how well these guys pull off what are some of my favorite Rush songs and I actually found myself listening to it in place of my Rush collection as it offered different mixes & vibes of these great songs, but without loosing the "classic Rush sound"... It was as if I were listening to the unreleased Rush remixes of the original masters! It was at that point that I thought other Rush fans might get the same satisfaction as I and we got involved in applying for the mechanical licenses from Anthem Entertainment and ultimately releasing the CD. Essentially, it's just a great addition to any Rush fan's collection".

Recording this record took a lot of dedication and determination from each member. The passion for playing the music of Rush certaintly comes out on this record. From the Minimoog synthesizer, Rickenbacker 4003 bass, Gibson ES335 and Gibson Les Paul guitars, the band paid close attention to the instrumentation to authenticate the sound. Run For Cover had a lot of fun recording this album, and we know Rush fans everywhere will have as much fun listening to it!
